We’re looking for a Dealership Controller for our South 20 Dodge Chrysler location in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.     This position is an important part of the management team within the dealership group and we’re seeking someone with a strong financial acumen and a talent to think outside the box.


     The ideal candidate would:

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Provide financial support, analysis and interpretation to dealership management while balancing the obligations to the Corporate Accounting Team.
    • Maintain complete full cycle accounting records for the dealership.
    • Preparation of all internal and external financial statements, providing analysis to highlight areas of concern or opportunity.
    • Responsible for the overall accuracy and reconciliation of accounting data.
    • Ensure compliance with all government finance and manufacturer regulations.
    • Oversee the timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.
    • Maintenance and oversight of all accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Improve and manage a strong internal control environment while safeguarding assets.
    • Working with the Group Controller and Dealership General Manager to create and present action plans to improve financial operations.
    • Broad range of accounting, supervisory and administrative procedures.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • 3 plus years of progressive Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller experience would be preferred.
    • An accounting designation and Automotive Dealership Industry experience are considered assets but not required.
    • Experience with CDK Global Dealership Management systems considered an asset.
    • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with a focus in excel.
