    Job Title: Accounting Technician


    Job Status: Full-Time


    Job Location: Saskatoon Volkswagen


    Job SummaryThe Accounting Technician is a talented internal/external customer service provider, who is effective in a wide variety of functions, which include clerical administrative and accounting work, as well as tracking and reporting functions. 


    Job Schedule: The schedule of this position is Monday to Friday. 


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Administrative and clerical duties
    • Data entry, tracking, and reporting functions
    • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels
    • Process purchasing orders as required
    • Track orders and investigate problems
    • Record purchases, maintain databases, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
    • Process and/or approve invoices for payment
    • Process and document returns as required following established procedures

    Key Qualifications:

    • Detail orientated
    • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deal with time sensitive deadlines and priorities
    • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Additional Requirements:

    • Proactive, energetic, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
    • Well organized, assertive, diplomatic, and detail oriented with accuracy in all functions of the role
    • Experience with accounting software; Reynolds and Reynolds, Great Plains, or CDK Global Dealership Management experience is an asset
    • College Diploma in Business Administration is considered an asset
