Since a young age you’ve been Mr. or Mrs. Fix It. Models, cars, that time cousin Jimmy broke the microwave. You were all over it. Then you got older and thought “Hey, why don’t I get paid for this?” and your Service Technician career was born. But are you happy in your current position? Are your awesome skills being recognized? Maybe you’re just tired of working on the same old, boring product. Well we’ve got a solution to all that and more. Let’s grow your career, and your bank account!

Join our team as a Service Technician with Country Ford in Wilkie.

Having FFUN is more than just in our name, it’s how we run our business, from the General Manager on down. Actually enjoy coming to work, using our leading-edge technology and getting top training from a Tier 1 manufacturer. But this position isn’t just a job. It’s being part of something much larger. A family-friendly community where you’ll be telling your friends you’ve gone back in time to a quality of life where you can walk to a neighbour’s house and enjoy the outdoors year-round. A whole new world of fun and adventure is within your reach and with an added signing bonus, it’ll be worth it in so many ways. So get your motor running again, it’s time to kick your career into high gear.

What’s in it for you?

  • Giving Back – From Hospital Foundations to local sports teams, we want everyone to have a little more FFUN in their lives.

What you’ll be doing.

The Service Technician role is all about finding that perfect balancing act between your attention to detail and your ability to multi-task. We know you’re skilled, but can you pull out your best Usain Bolt impression once you get under that hood? Billable hours are the name of the game, and the key to winning is managing those multiple repair orders. It starts with assisting with repair estimates with the Service Manager. Once you get the green light, it’s time to go. Diagnose, service, repair and replace all parts for your units. Yeah, those vehicles we were talking about before. Prepping, disassembling, reassembling, even recommending maintenance. Every job will be a little different, but that’s what keeps this job FFUN! You’re passionate about the automotive industry, and will share that love with your co-workers, even the apprentice technicians you may supervise as assigned. Commit to quality work and be willing to learn the rest, if you can do that, strap on that smile permanently because you’re about to ride a wave of success.

We’ll keep things simple, measuring your performance on:

  • Hours
  • Punctuality
  • Dedication to Customer Service
  • Attention to Detail
  • Attitude

That great attitude will get you 90% there, for the rest, we’re looking for a:

  • Minimum Journeyman Technician, and if you’re already Ford Certified, oh boy we’ll roll out the red carpet
  • Your own tools are needed, but our reimbursement program will help you with those
  • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License upon employment
  • SGI Certification would be considered an asset

What it’s really like to work here.

We’re an automotive and recreational retailer with over 25 locations across Canada and one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. At FFUN, we do things a bit differently. Be yourself and be amazing. And for all the rest, you’ll get tons of guidance and heaps of support from talented, super-smart colleagues from all over the country.

We’re going to be upfront – the way we work doesn’t suit everyone. But if autonomy and life-affirming, head scratching professional challenges rock your world, we could be a match made in heaven.
